Stake Primary Messages

Dear Children, Parents and Primary Leaders:

First, we would like to express how excited we are to work with all of you! We relish this opportunity to learn from the children in our stake who are examples of the pure love of Jesus Christ. One of our greatest desires is to help our children grow with their love and knowledge of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We know that He loves you and wants all of us to be happy. To help our primary children know the Savior's love for them, we would like to introduce a program called "I Know Jesus." This program consists of a monthly 4-minute video that will help our primary children get to know Jesus and understand more of His work and His life. We believe that knowing our Savior will give our children the foundation for a wonderful relationship between them, their Savior, and His gospel.

Every month we will send a video that contains a theme, a message from our stake leadership, and a little "challenge" for each kid to do. This video can be shown at home during family time or during primary meetings (time permitting). As ward leaders, please counsel together to decide what is the best way to share this message to the primary children in your ward. This is meant to be a fun tool for leaders and parents to help children feel the love of our Savior.

Attached you will find our first video and challenge. For January, we decided to show the kids that Jesus was a kid like them! Our challenge this month will be to think of adventures they would have with Jesus if they grew up with Him and create a comic page. They can draw as many pages as they want. We would like to ask for copies of the drawings each month as we are hoping to create a fun surprise for our kids at the end of the year.

Parents and teachers, please know that we are here to support you in any way possible. We love you and appreciate the tireless work that you do for the children in our lives!
